From Pen to Plate

Writer | Director | Cinematographer | Editor
From Pen to Plate was my first factual piece of filmmaking. I chose to take a look at the making of a menu through the lens of the chef who was creating it, whilst also delving into his background and views on cooking as a career. This challenged me as a filmmaker and was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I enjoyed creating this and forming an overarching story out of different interviews and conversations.

Death Has No Friends

Writer | Director | Cinematographer | Editor
Death Has No Friends is my first short film, which I wrote, directed, shot, and edited for my HNC in Film & Television. My aim for this film was to create something meaningful, but cinematic, with a touch of surrealism. The experience and knowledge I gained from creating this was immense, whether it was finding locations, casting, or the production itself, and I am very proud of the finished product.

Duality

Writer | Director | Editor
In my HNC, we were tasked to create a short Horror film and thus, Duality was created. I enjoyed creating this piece, and while the concept was simple, executing the desired effect through editing was difficult, and challenged me in ways I didn’t expect. I learned a lot through creating this, and am happy with the final result.
